Hey family!!Again i dont have much time this week to email so i will make it snappy!!!

This past week we had interviews with our mission president which is always a great experience. During my interview there was a super bad storm outside. During the middle of the interview the lightning started to get really crazy and it actually struck the steple of the chapel that we were in!! it blew out all the lights so we did the rest of the interview in the dark haha it was kind of cool.

During the interview President looked at his Ipad then looked back at me and said “you know what i find alarming about your situation elder payne is that for almost a year now you have only ever been a juniour companion. Yet when i look at you now i dont see someone who is supposed to be a juniour companion. I think that changes will come in the future and that you will be done with this whole juniour companion business.

It wasnt until sunday that i heard counsel that made sense as to why i have been a juniour comp. for so long. Our bishop was talking with me and my companion and he said “Before you can be a good leader, you have to be a good follower.” Not that i have been literally following my companion every where. I have made decision and put forth ideas that have helped out the areas in which i have been serving, But i guess technically i have been a follower for the past year. Maybe the Lord has something coming my way, but to be honest i dont really care if i get leadership on mission. All i want to do is be a regular missionary doing extraordinary work.

I hope you all have a good week!! I love you all!!

Elder Seth Payne
